9:30 – 10:00 Welcome and presentation of LM-Dental, Mika Uusi-Seppälä (or Peggy Storbacka)
10:00 – 11:00 Lecture by Dr. Larisa Orlikova:
- LM-Activator treatment in mixed dentition
Indications and treatment: Experience and evidence through patient case analysis.- Indications include crowding, deep bite, distal bite and open bite.
- Combinations treatments with other appliances

11:15‑ 13:00 Lecture continues:
- Patient case analysis continues.
- Clinical protocol
- Selecting model and size
- Instructing the patient and families (daytime wear, night-time wear, cooperation and motivation)
- Summary of scientific research done in Finland
- Use of LM-Activator in the Finnish public health care
13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14:00 – 14:30 Lecture continues.
14:30 – 15:00 Local clinical experience in the use of LM-Activator presented by Dr Ilze Peleke.

15:30 – 17:00 Practical exercises: Hands-on training with typodonts and samples
Questions and discussion
The participants will be dived into smaller groups to work with typodonts, LM-OrthoSizer and LM-Activator appliances. The aim is to select the model and to find the right size of the appliance. The LM-OrthoSizer will be used for estimating the size and the participants will learn what to consider in the choice of the size of the appliance.
